What IPAC Does

IPAC generates action from insight, leveraging an evidence-based understanding of people and organizations to propel decision-making and forward movement. As a research consultancy within the University of Connecticut, we combine the rigor of peer-reviewed science with the practical know-how from decades of consulting with exceptional leaders and organizations. And in this age of AI, we are a source of original knowledge, not just an aggregator of others’ information.

Action-Insight (n.)

The building block of everything we do. Evidence-based understanding with a vector…designed not just to inform, but to propel action. Not insight for its own sake, but for clarity that moves.

Assess

We will partner with you to collect critical information and synthesize it into actionable insights. We do this by framing research questions; developing assessments; collecting data using scientifically rigorous methods; designing and implementing quantitative and qualitative research designs; calculating normative benchmarks; capturing measures at individual, team, department, organization, region, and industry sector levels; synthesizing and summarizing results.

Equip

Once we have insights into what you need to do, we will equip you with the knowledge, information, and tools required for you to take action. We do this by interpreting the results in context; helping you identify and set priorities; drafting action plans with measurable goals; providing training on critical capabilities, tools, and frameworks; creating tailored tools and job aids; implementing and evaluating new processes; and building your confidence and credibility.

Advise

And when you move forward, we are there with you every step of the way. We do this by being a trusted thought partner and sounding board on decisions and strategy; a confidante; an executive coach and advisor; facilitator of team and stakeholder meetings; and always there to assist in identifying solutions and alternatives to problems and opportunities.
